A Message From the Founder

I come from a family of teachers, so before any other credentials, I have a special feeling of joy for education that comes from my family.

Professionally, the combination of my education, teaching experience, and test-prep expertise puts me in a unique position to offer great instruction. I earned my BA from Columbia and my MA in education from Hunter, and have been a NYS licensed teacher since 2007. I’ve also successfully tutored tests such as the SHSAT, iSEE, and SAT for many years. Together, my teaching and tutoring knowledge let me address the full picture of what students need and how to help them.

I address the emotional aspect of learning by paying attention to students’ feelings and offering opportunities for social learning.
